Barley Swine is an American restaurant located on Burnet Road. It is one of the best restaurants in Austin from an all round dining experience. They are known as a tapas-style restaurant. Known as “Swine Time”, Barley Swine offers a very exclusive happy hour. This is more of a tapas-style restaurant. All items on the menu are 50% off every Sunday-Friday from 5:00pm-6:30pm. On top of all menu items, one can purchase $7 Draft Cocktails, $4 Texas Draft Beers, 25% off Bottles of Wine and Half off Large Format Beers. Some of our favorite items are the Shitake Dumplings, Gulf Crab Cornbread and the Tostada.

Anthem is a Tex-Asian Pub located on Rainey Street. It was named the winner of USA Today’s 10 Best New Restaurants of 2018. They have a fun happy hour that is all day on Mondays, and Tuesday-Saturday from 3:00pm-6:30pm. Drink specials include $2 lone-star drafts, $4 glass of wine, $6 frozen daiquiris, $7 speciality cocktails and $1 off all draft beers & bombs. Outside of the P&E Shrimp, all food is under $10 during happy hour. The Yummy Fries are definitely a staple to their happy hour menu so make sure to grab an order of those. JFC Popcorn Chicken, Brisket Rangoons and Hong Kong Waffle are also great options to try.

F&D is located on east 53rd street. Notoriously known for its cheddar biscuits and onion dip, we recommend trying these during your visit. However their fried chicken biscuit is fire! The red eye gravy is a unique and scrumptious flavor which is served over a sunny side egg, giving it the perfect balance. The restaurant is fairly small so make sure to reserve a table prior to going especially if you are planning to go with a large group.
